Annie McTaggart

Annie has been regularly involved in local amateur theatre for many years, both as a performer and, more latterly, as a director.

Her first venture into directing was in 1998, when she was asked by Southampton Musical Society to stage their production of Oklahoma.  Since that time, Annie has directed many shows for various societies throughout southern England, including the South Coast premiere of 'Pride and Prejudice', 'Me and my Girl', 'La Cage Aux Folles', 'Cabaret' and '42nd Street'.  Annie has also directed a number of straight plays, most recently for 'Stage One Theatre Company' in Paphos, Cyrus where she was also responsible for staging their first ever full scale musical production, 'My Fair Lady'.

Her most recent production was 'Calamity Jane' for Southampton Musical Society, staged at the Theatre Royal in Winchester.
